The Labour Party (LP) Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central – Senator Dr Victor Umeh, the LP candidate for Awka North and South Federal Constituency – Prof. Lilian Oby Orogbu and the LP candidate for House of Assembly Awka North Constituency – Hon. Ferdinand Onwuje on Thursday paid homage to the Traditional Ruler of Amansea, Igwe Peter Chukwuma Anigbogu.
“This is the time for Ndigbo to rise again. We shall all support Mr Peter Obi with everything we have and back him up with all LP candidates.
“Among all the candidates contesting for Senate in Anambra Central Senatorial District, I am the best.
“During my 17 months in the 8th Senate. I championed for good governance, justice and fairness especially for the better treatment of the Igbo people in Nigeria.”
“I will redouble my effort if elected to represent Anambra Central in the 10th Senate.” Senator Victor Umeh said.
The Traditional Rulers prayed for LP victory in the forthcoming general election.
