A Staff Of INEC Allegedly Demands N1000 For The Collection Of Permanent Voters Card In Enugu

As the 2023 general elections draw closer, citizens across the country have been going to their wards to collect their permanent voter cards (PVC) so as to participate in the polls come February 25. With a few days until the end of the collection of the voters card, there has been a rush among the electorates to get their PVC.

In a video shared by Sahara reporters, a lady suspected to be a staff member of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was captured demanding the sum of N1000 before one can collect his or her permanent voter card at a location in Enugu state. From the video clip, the people could be seen arguing with the suspected staff, who seemed adamant about her demands.
