The General Overseer of The Mountain of the Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje, has revealed how banks can solve the problem of naira scarcity.
In a video on the official Facebook page of his church, the man of God said that those who are hoarding naira notes are looking for trouble. He reveals that if banks fail to release people’s money before Wednesday, they will have issues. Through a rhetorical question, he quarries the reason why people who are doctors and professors are unable to solve the problem of the scarcity of naira. Odumeje specifically said, “Telling people to bring their old money wasn’t necessary. To solve the problem of naira scarcity, as people are depositing the old naira notes, they should be given the new naira notes. Before one or two years, the whole country will be saturated with the new naira notes. It’s not difficult. This is just a simple equation.
