
Senator Shehu, a popular human rights activist and former senator for Kaduna Central, has urged Nigerians to vote according to their conscience in the upcoming presidential election.
As things stand, only three of the 18 candidates have a realistic chance of winning the presidency on Saturday. All Peoples Congress (APC) candidate Bola Asiwaju Tinubu, Labour Party (LP) candidate Peter Obi, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar all believe they can win the election in Africa’s most populous state.
In this regard, Shehu Sani has advised Nigerians not to vote for a candidate simply because their churches or mosques tell them to. He urged them, however, to vote based on their conscience and experience in order to elect a good leader for the country.
