The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has tasked the people of Rivers State on what to do on the 25th of February, while voting during the presidential election.
Governor Wike who spoke on Tuesday at Ogbo/Ukordu junction in Ahoada East Local Government Area of the State to flag off phase two of the Ahoada_Omoku Road, urged the people to ensure that their permanent voter cards (PVC) were intact and safe. He further tasked them to use their PVCs to ‘pepper some wicked people’.
He said, “I am sure you must have brought out your PVC and kept it very well so that nobody will say my PVC is missing. Go now and put it under your pillow. By 6:30 in the morning on Saturday make sure you’re in your various polling units and use your PVC and pepper them. Help us and use your PVC to pepper those wicked people.”
Speaking further, Wike said Rivers People have already been instructed on who to vote in the coming elections.
Recall that Wike who refused to endorse any presidential candidate for the election over his disagreement with the PDP at the national level, had recently declared that it is over for negotiations.
