Fraudulent Alert: Inspector General Of Police Wants Go On Retirement With 6 Months Salary Arrears Of Police Officers

The officers of Nigeria Police Force are calling on Nigerian government, Nongovernmental and Civil Society Organizations to come their rescue, the aforementioned officers, it is expected that Usman Baba, the Inspector General Of Police will be leaving office on retirement in March 2023 and it is criminal, injustice and fraudulent if goes with their six months salary arrears.

The police officers whose names were withheld, described the action of IGP as fraudulent, wicked and without conscience, for planning to go on retirement with six months salary arrears of his colleagues, hence, the money involved is over a trillion Naira. “We cannot fold our arms and watch him get away with it, we therefore call on relevant agencies: EFCC, ICPC, NGO’s and Civil Society Organizations to investigate the IGP” he state.

Another officer described intent as criminal, since the junior officers who protested some months ago in 2022 has been paid, they believed the Federal Government has released the money to be paid, but to their chagrin, up till now they have not received anything to that effect.
