Nigerian lawyer and Human Right Activist, Femi Falana has reacted after hearing that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party will be challenging the APC in court.
Falana, while addressing the issue, said “The Supreme Court’s judgment shows that it is a beautiful time in the Nigerian democracy. The court should be allowed to do its judgment without the federal government interfering in the matter.”
The federal government said that they would obey the judgment of the court, and it will be final, so they should better obey the judgment of the federal government when the time reaches, they shouldn’t do otherwise. If not, they will be generating chaos and violence in Nigeria”.
He said that if the court is in favour of anyone, and has given a particular candidate the victory, no one, not even the federal government should go against it if they want peace to reign in this country, Femi Falana said.
