The popular singer and pastor turn politician Olubankole Wellington, otherwise known as Banky W, has broken silence days after he lost his house of representative election to labour party candidate Attah.
The house of representative election that was held on 25 February 2023, Banky W contested for the house of representative under Eti-Osa constituency, Lagos State, Nigeria, but he lost to his opponent, who is labour party candidate Thaddeus Attah, today he has broken silence.
As posted on Instagram, Banky W shared video of him preaching in church, he remembered the Election, he broke silence and said he my baby and I spoke About today’s service weeks ago, this was supposed to be their thanksgivings service after the election is over they are celebrating and thanking God and he would just give the church charge to say see what the Lord has done and we use that to build up your faith and give God some much due and necessary praise.
He said his plan was when he is done with the service, he would go to Abuja and start looking for office space and apartment, but God said is it only faith when you win, he said God doesn’t stop you from hurting, but he helps you heal Because the truth is your faith in God doesn’t stop you from hurting, be helps you heal, so if you think my story is over, you don’t know my God and you don’t know me, he said.
