The Peoples Democratic Party’s Candidate for Enugu State House of Assembly in Uzo Uwani Constituency, Hon. Chukwuma Martins Ekwueme, has promised to launch a suggestion box, if elected in the upcoming Enugu State House of Assembly elections, scheduled to hold on Saturday, 18th day of March, 2023.
The Candidate who was recently addressing different youth-groups across Uzo Uwani LGA, at his countryhome in Adaba, also stated his representation at the Enugu State House of Assembly, would mark the beginning of all-inclusive representation at the legislative chamber.
Ekwueme explained that his purpose of launching a suggestion box was to enable his constituents, bring ideas on how best to meet their yearnings and aspiration through lawmaking.
He further, noted that “the best lawmaker is one who lives amongst his constituents as well as feels their pulse at every given time.
His words: “lawmaking is not a rocket science But an arm of government aimed at creating relevant laws that would help in uplifting the living standards of our constituents.
“It is simply about creating enabling environments and also, lobbying where necessary to achieve a better lifestyle for our constituents.
“In this regards, I will be launching a suggestion box, where the goals and aspiration of my constituents would be submitted on daily basis, for onward legislative actions”, he said.
He however, called on voters across Uzo Uwani Constituency to vote massively for him as well as the party’s Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for a better society.
“A vote for PDP is a vote for a better society. So I urge you to vote for me and vote for our Guber Candidate, Dr. Peter Mbah.”
