The former Minister of Education, Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, has reacted to the reported arrest of one Mr Chude in Anambra State, by the men of the Nigerian Police Force over cyber security crime allegation.
While reacting, Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili disclosed that she has an update on the issue, noting that she called the Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Soludo, who disclosed to her that the commissioner of police in Anambra State confirmed to him that Chude was arrested for cyber security crime by the police in Anambra State and was taken to Abuja.
Speaking further, she demanded that the inspector general of police must disclose the type of cyber security crime he committed, noting that to arrest Chude whose footprint is a vocal voice for Peter Obi and Labour Party during the just concluded presidential election on allegation of cyber security crime places a duty on the police to tell Nigerians the exact cyber crime he committed.
It was reported earlier today that Mr Chude, who helped in the collation of election results online for the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, during the just concluded presidential election was arrested in Anambra State, by the men of the Nigerian Police Force.
