
Spokesman of the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo, has reacted to the statement of the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi over the irregularities and malpractice that marred the 2023 elections.
Akelicious reports that Amaechi in a short clip shared online averred that the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State was not contesting against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), but against the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Police.
He also recalled how he and others had opposed the reappointment of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) Chairman, Yakubu Mahmood.
According to him, Mahmood was recommended for reappointment by someone in the camp of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.
