The governor-elect of Abia State, Alex Otti, who ran under the platform of the Labour Party (LP), called Mr. Peter Obi “My President in Waiting.” It should be noted that Otti of the Labour Party was announced the winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election in Abia state after polling 175,467 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Okey Ahiwe of the Peoples Democratic Party, who polled 88,529 votes, making Abia the first state where the LP won the gubernatorial election. Also, Obi has written a petition to the court challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential election after coming third behind Atiku and Tinubu.
While replying to Obi’s congratulatory message via a tweet, Alex Otti wrote, “Thank you very much for your kind words and prayers, my president in waiting.”
