The former Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta state, Hon. Efe Ofobruku has accused the People Democratic Party (PDP) of not doing an election, they compromised with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and put down their results. He said that the party has been involved in several fraudulent acts in time pass during election exercises which is why in the recent election many politicians had to go back to the basis to reach the people.
Hon. Efe Ofobruku, who made the statement during an interview with Arise Television revealed that before the election they have received a series of treatments from their supporters and they channel the issue to various security agencies. Speaking concerning PDP he said since time passed, from 1999 the party has never done any election what they do is hijack the electoral materials write down their figures, and look for an INEC staff to declare them the winner of the election. This has been their practice over the years as they will tell their opponents to go to court if they disagree with the results.
He added that in the aspect of BVAS and the obedient movement in the state, many politicians have no choice but to go back to the basis by reaching out to the people to get votes during the election.
