The Spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye has reacted after Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka apologized on behalf of other Men of God for what happened during the last general elections.
Father Ejike Mbaka, who is known for his outspokenness had during a sermon stated that many altars of God were defiled and the pulpits were used for electioneering campaigns during the last elections.
Recall that the presidential and National assemblies election were held on the 25th of February while the State and House of Assembly elections were held on the 18th of March 2023.
Many Nigerians have accused some politicians of campaigning on a religious basis and using the House of God for political purposes.
Reacting to the apology made by Father Ejike Mbaka, Dino Melaye, who is a former federal lawmaker said; “The Church and Christian community goofed, hence this apology by a courageous man of God. All of you go and sin no more.”
