Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie has confirmed reports of the demise of his grandson, Kambilinachukwu. It was reported that Kambilinachukwu Edochie collapsed after he developes seizure while playing football with his friends. He was rushed to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead after several attempts to revive him.
While confirming the reports of Kambilinachukwu’s death to the Vangaurd, Pete Edochie described his late grandson as a very brilliant and talented child who was so accomplished. He also revealed that the family went into prayers after they received a call from Yul about the sad incident. Speaking further, he said that he’s learnt from experience that people who excel in anything doesn’t last long. He said this while describing Kambilinachukwu as he mourns his death.
He said;
“Kambilinachukwu is a very quiet, brilliant and talented child. He’s not somebody you can ride easily. He doesn’t get angry no matter the situation.
He may change his composure, but he was definitely a very unusual person in so many respects.”
“He was so accomplished. I always tell my son that I don’t like people excelling like this in any thing they are involved in. Experience has taught me that such people don’t last long.”
