The identity of the man removed from a plane and arrested on Friday at the Abuja Airport has been revealed.
The suspect, Mr. Obiajulu Uja was arrested while he was loudly saying that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu must never be sworn-in.
According to the report Mr. Obiajulu is from Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State.
His lawyer, Barr. Ejike Ugwu revealed on Saturday that Obiajulu is mentally challenged.
The lawyer, who said he was at the Airport Police Division to see the suspect, stated that the police were yet to provide Mr. Obiajulu despite his bad situation.
The lawyer said all efforts he made to make the police allow the suspect access to medical care had not received attention.
Recall that Obiajulu on Friday was removed from a flight and arrested in Abuja for insisting that Bola Ahmed Tinubu should not be sworn in as President of Nigeria come May 29, 2023.
Media reports revealed that he was heard saying “Tinubu cannot be sworn in”. Then in another clip where he is being taken out of the flight, he’s heard shouting “Obidients you’re here. They are doing this to me. Obidients you’re here, I am naked. Obidients you’re here, I am going naked.”
