Bishop Oyedepo Sends Warning To People Who Press Their Phones During Church Services

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, has sent a warning to people who use their phones as the church service is going on. He gave this warning during his sermon at the Easter Youth Alive Convention.

He explained that one way to get access to God’s plan for your life is by asking for it. According to him, if God does not reveal his plans to you himself, it is your responsibility to make enquiries from him.

The Bishop stated that when your craving is genuine, God will respond. However, he stated that in order to hear God’s response, you must be in the spirit. He quoted John in the book of Revelations, who was in the spirit on the Lord’s Day, and received the revelations from God.

He lamented that the youths of today are distracted by a lot of devices, from the TV and computers, to the phones they carry about. He expressed his displeasure that some people even use their phones while the church services are going on.

He warned such people to desist from such actions, as God can speak at any time, and they will miss it as they distract themselves by using their phones.

“You are already old. Samuel was already hearing the voice of God as a little boy. Stop distracting yourself. Walk in the spirit. My sheep hear my voice; are you not one of his sheep?” he said.
