A socio-political youth group in the south eastern part of Nigeria known as The Coalition of South-East Youth Leaders, (COSEYL) has replied the former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode over his statement he made to the labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The group who frowned over such utterances made by Fani Kayode inquired who he was for him to have the audacity to tell a Nigerian citizen to leave his country, and never return back.
the President-General of the group, Goodluck Ibem pointed out that Peter Obi was a bonafide indigene, adding that if anyone were to leave the country, it would be the former minister.
Frowning over such utterances made, they further added that Fani Kayode should retrieve that statement, and tender an apology to Peter Obi.
They said… “Who is FFK to tell Mr Peter Obi, a bonafide indigene of Nigeria to leave his country and never come back. What gave him such audacity to make such unguarded statement”
Recall that Fani Kayode, in response to Peter Obi’s claims that he was under pressure to leave the country, had stressed that the former governor of Anambra state should indeed leave, and never to return
