…As Adichie’s single letter destroys all their efforts
Nigeria faced with bad image before the International Community especially from the disputed Presidential election.
They decided to send someone for image laundering abroad and the only person they selected for that job was Alhaji Lai Mohammed out of 200 million people.
Lai Mohammed himself had a damaged reputation with a picture of someone that doesn’t tell truth. Now Nigeria sent a damaged reputation to manage their reputation.
This has always been how they select the wrong persons for offices and end up messing up Nigeria’s potential.
To cut the story short, Lai Mohammed went without achieving any results. If you even analyze his statement while in the USA, you will notice that he ended up damaging the Nigerian image more, an image he was sent to go and launder.
It was the failure of Lai Mohammed that made APC/Tinubu get our respected Wole Soyinka to help, an action that also backfired that saw our 88 years old Wole Soyinka begging for a debate with 50-something years old Dr. Datti (LP Vice presidential candidate) which Datti turned down as a mark of respect to the old man, and went on to ask him to nominate his APC presidential candidate or Vice to debate with him(Datti).
The point is that while APC and Tinubu camp were still trying to analyze, Soyinka’s outing, Odeluwa, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie came from nowhere and drop one single letter that destroyed all the APC/Tinubu attempt to launder their image before the international community.
Since then, APC has been doing trier and error with FFK, Reno, etc just to counter one letter from one woman…
