2023 Election has come and gone. INEC has announced the results and declared winners.
Aggrieved candidates have also approached the courts for redress.
Some will recover their mandates in the court. Therefore, it is time to move on, we shall follow details of the court proceedings and see who and who will emerge victorious at the courts.
Meanwhile, Anambra central senatorial zone will be interesting. It is going to be interesting because Hon Dozie Nwankwo has never won any election at the polls. He always go to court to get a ridiculous judgement.
He went to the House of Reps through the courts. He wants to go to the senate through the courts again.
But this time he will meet his match inside the courtroom. Senator Victor Umeh is a veteran in court cases. Both of them know the routes very well. So it won’t be easy for Onye Ndozi.
But let the truth be told. Umeh won the election squarely. So I don’t know what Dozie Nwankwo is challenging at the tribunal.
We must not go to the court in everything. There are times to congratulate a winner in the spirit of sportsmanship and join hands to bring good dividends to our people.
Let’s support Victor Umeh this time and see if he can equal or surpass the amazing achievements of Senator Iyom Uche Ekwunife.
