Bayern Munich boss, Thomas Tuchel has said that their 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad on Wednesday ‘was a lot of fun.’
The first-leg ended 3-0 in favour of the English side at the Etihad on Wednesday with Rodri, Bernado Silva and Erling Haaland getting on the scoresheet for Pep Guardiola’s side.
One would have thought the game is over with the Germans 3-0 down but Tuchel, whose team dominated the majority of the game in England, said they will never give up.
“It’s football. It’s a home match. It’s a German team. We will never give up until the shower is warm after the match!” he told BT Sport.
Tuchel, who disagreed with the result, was pleased with what he saw from his team, insisting the quarter-final tie is not over yet.
“I don’t agree with the result at all,” he told Amazon Prime.
“I fell a little bit in love with my team today, the way they performed. Even if it sounds strange, it was a lot of fun,” he added.
