It's Not Impossible That Those Urging Peter Obi To Leave Nigeria May Have Planted The Impersonators - Labour Party

The Labour Party has accused Peter Obi’s political opponents of planting impersonators in foreign countries and trying to frame him up in those countries.

The party went on and noted that it is very strange for a man who lived in the United Kingdom for decades to be subjected to interrogation and detention.

The Labour Party made this disclosure in a statement that was released by the spokesperson of the Obi-Datti Media Office, Diran Onifade, noting that the said impersonator could be committing all manners of crimes in the UK, Arise News reported.

Speaking further, the Labour Party noted that since the impersonator is still at large, Peter Obi could be implicated in a series of forbidden acts and even be framed in a manner that could be a huge embarrassment to him, his family, his party and his supporters.

Part of the statement read: “It’s also not impossible that those urging him to leave the country may have planted the impersonators ostensibly to tar the Eagle’s immaculate appearance.”

Furthermore, Labour Party noted that since Peter Obi vowed to pursue his case at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, he had become the subject of attack from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to the extent that his telephone line was bugged when they were looking for information to portray him badly before Nigerians.

In addition, the party noted that even the Federal Government who directed him to go to court dispatched the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammad, to the United States to attempt at de-marketing him and accused him of treason.

Recall that the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, was recently detained in the United Kingdom by the UK immigration officials, who claimed that Peter Obi is being impersonated in the country.
