A prominent Nigerian journalist, Chuks Akunna, has said that people like Lai Mohammed and Festus Keyamo are problems for the president-elect announced by INEC, Tinubu. Akunna expressed his concern regarding Keyamo’s actions and statements in the course of serving Tinubu despite being a Nigerian minister.
Addressing the topic, Akunna said, “People like Festus Keyamo and Lai Mohammed are Tinubu’s problem. I say this responsibly. Yes, Keyamo is a spokesman for Tinubu’s PCC while still serving as a member of Buhari’s cabinet. However, there are several issues, like those of the Nigerian medical doctors and the UK. There is also the issue of unemployment, which has hit an all-time high. These are Keyamo’s primary responsibilities.
He added, “Keyamo has ignored his primary responsibilities as the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, but he is focused on people like Chimamanda Adichie. There are labour issues around us, and I do not think that Keyamo is on Chimamanda’s level.
