Labour Party Dissolve Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign Council With Immediate Effect

Amid the ongoing crisis in the Labour Party, the Acting National Chairman of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa has authoritatively dissolved the Obi/Datti Presidential campaign council with immediate effect. Mr. Lamidi Apapa who outlined weighty allegations against the National Chairman, Julius Abure, and the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

Mr. Lamidi who argued that Peter Obi didn’t pick up the party ticket in the right order in which it was expected of him to get the ticket. He also questioned his excellency, Mr. Peter Obi for disregarding the Federal High Court order that places a restraining order on Julius Abure from parading itself as National Chairman. According to Mr. Lamidi, Peter Obi’s disobedience could cause civil unrest.

He said, ”Peter Obi is not fit to govern Nigeria for his involvement in the gross disobedience to the FCT high court order as this is an evidence that he will cause civil unrest. Turn Nigeria to a banana republic and lawlessness where rule of law will be a thing of the past. Finally, the National working committee of our party and I hereby dissolve the Obi/Datti Presidential campaign council with immediate effect.”
