
A crash involving three vehicles consisting of a Mazda commercial bus, a tricycle, and a white Camry car, has claimed the life of a man around Mosalasi Roundabout, inward the Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos State.
the driver of a Camry car with license plate KJA 351 HG was driving at a high speed when they collided with a tricycle, causing the operator to lose control. The impact of the collision also obstructed a Mazda commercial bus that was approaching with passengers on board. As a result of the accident, at least three people suffered injuries of varying degrees. Witnesses and relatives of the injured victims rushed to their aid and took them to nearby hospitals for treatment.
In a statement made on Monday by Taofiq Adebayo, the Director of the Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department at LASTMA, it was revealed that one of the injured victims had passed away before reaching the hospital. Additionally, Bolaji Oreagba, the General Manager of LASTMA, commented that the accident could have been prevented if the driver had not been driving at a high speed.
According to a statement released, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) was able to rescue three individuals who had suffered severe injuries in an accident at Mosalasi Roundabout on the road leading towards Iyana-Ipaja in Lagos. The rescue operation was led by LASTMA Akanji Wasiu (Bravo 16), who confirmed that the accident involved three vehicles: a Mazda commercial bus with license plate FKJ 88 XH, a tricycle with plate number KJA 369 QM, and a white Camry car with plate number KJA 351 HG. The accident occurred on the main carriageway of the Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos.
