A former Nigerian minister and member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has tackled a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo over his comment he made regarding the presidency of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Femi Fani Kayode who took to his social media warned the former chieftain of the PDP to desist from behaving like the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi and his Obidients.
The former minister who frowned over the comments which Nwodo made noted that such could breed ethnic divisions in the nation, adding that he should rather accept defeat, rather than wailing like the supporters of Peter Obi.
Fani Kayode who urged Nwodo to desist from behaving like the 2023 presidential candidate under the labour party further added that he should remember the great lineage which he comes from, stressing that under Tinubu’s presidency, no Nigerian, whether Igbo or otherwise will suffer.
In his words…”I implore you to stop breeding ethnic divisions in our nation. I implore you to desist from behaving like Peter Obi and his Obidients, and Instead of whining and wailing like a newly-initiated Obidient why not accept defeat in an honorable manner and thereby maintain the respect that many of us that have always looked up to you have for you”
Recall that according to Vanguard, Nwodo had reacted towards the exclusion of the Igbo in his 14 man inauguration committee, claiming that Tinubu was already serving the Igbo’s the ‘soaked slice bread’
