
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike on Friday stormed the Defence House, Abuja to visit President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu is staying at the Defence House from where he will taken for swearing-in as president of Nigeria on 29 May, 2023.
He called for total support for Tinubu to make his administration successful.
According to him, elections had come and gone and winner had emerged, saying it was therefore necessary for all Nigerians to give him the necessary support for the interest of Nigerians.
The governor said the time for politics was over, adding that he was confident that Tinubu has what it takes to turn Nigeria around.
Wike worked massively for the emergence of Tinubu as president-elect as he delivered the votes of Rivers to him.
Likewise, Makinde ensured that Tinubu won massively in Oyo State during the presidential election on 25 February.
