Our attention is drawn to the undemocratic plan of Imo Pdp to showcase infantile desperation to power, by hinging it’s campaign on the hardship caused by NLC on Imo people.
It is our resolve that Pdp in imo state is playing to the gallery and showing extreme desperation to decieve it’s followers against the blatant truth is that Gov. Hope Uzodimma has showed genuine efforts to improve the welfare of workers in the state.
We understand that Joe AJAERO of the NLC is playing a script of political opposition against the current administration to distabilize economic growth and activities in the state.
We advice that the PDP should face the issues that face it, from illegitimacy of their candidate
to the disintegration led against genuine members of the pdp by outlaws and anarchists,rather than support Joe AJAERO to sabotage the economic development of the state.
When Gov. Hope Uzodimmna became governor in January 2020, the entire civil service had
decayed while retired civil servants had not been paid their gratuities for over a decade.
The party believes that governance should be strengthened were weak and workers welfare is not a weak part of the current administration with Gov Hope Uzodimma providing schemes of workers development, including cleansing the payroll system and instituting an automated payment system, resulting to prompt payment of salaries and pensions; free transportation for Imo workers; renovation of the state secretariat, promotion of the civil servants who were last promoted about 10 years ago; approval for service age elongation of 65 years and 40 years of service for Imo teachers and approval of check-off dues to Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP).
We hold firmly that KOWA party having seen the uncommon desire of Gov Hope Uzodimma to deliver sustainable development in the state has endorsed his candidacy for a second tenure.
We know that the Imo Governor is undoubtedly loved and appreciated by Imo people and we
allign ourselves with that solidarity.
