Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has congratulated the British monarch, King Charles III, on his coronation.

His felicitations are contained in a statement posted on his verified Twitter page.

The former vice president noted that Saturday, May 6, 2023, marked the start of a new chapter in the history of the United Kingdom.
