Asari-Dokubo, a prominent political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, recently took to his Facebook page to address the adjournment of the presidential tribunal case from May 8th to May 10th, 2023. He acknowledged the presence of numerous opposition parties in court but confidently stated that their efforts would be in vain.
According to Asari-Dokubo, the opposition parties’ plans to challenge the tribunal case would ultimately amount to nothing. He expressed assurance that the outcome of the case would be favorable to his party.
Despite the adjournment, Asari-Dokubo remains optimistic about the future of his political career and the success of his party’s endeavors.
Speaking further he said ” Nobody should blame the APC party if they eventually start going to court for justice. Just the way Peter Obi and his team are doing now. If you can recall vividly, Nobody asked Peter Obi not to be sworn in when he had an electoral issue with Ngige in 2006. But why will he now insist that Ahmed Bola Tinubu should not be sworn in?
