Former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has reacted to how Peter Obi denounced, apologized, and dissociated himself from some comments made by some of his supporters.
Over a long period of time, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has always tended to denounce, apologize, and distance himself from some comments and social media attacks that are being perpetrated by some people who are believed to be his followers.
Recently, the Labour Party candidate condemned the attack on Pastor Adeboye and some other prominent Nigerians that his supposed followers had attacked on social media, and in this view, Senator Shehu Sani made it known on the Twitter page that if Peter Obi kept on apologizing to people for whatever his supporters said or did, he would kill the spirit of his movement.
The former senator made this statement while indicating that the likes of Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and President Buhari have never distanced themselves or apologized for whatever his supporters say or do.
He stated, “Asiwaju, Atiku, and Buhari Never denounce or apologize for whatever their supporters say or do. Peter keeps apologizing and dissociating from it. If you keep on moving on this apologetic path, you will kill the libido of your movement. You sparked a fire; embrace the inferno with courage”.
