The Federal government has honored Alhaji Bashir Yusuf Jamoh, Director General Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA with a National Productivity order of Merit NPOM award.
The Presidential award for Alhaji Jamoh was in honor of his reforms and innovations carried out in the maritime industry over the years.
Jamoh made the list of prominent Nigerians and organisations bestowed the award for 2021 and 2022 by the government.
Bashir Yusuf Jamoh had introduced a new cabotage law among many others to drive the maritime industry inline with the best global practices.
The award will be presented by the federal government through the Ministry of Labour and Employment/ National Productivity Centre NPC, Abuja.
