Tottenham beat Manchester United 2-0 in their second premier league game on Saturday at White Hart Lane, as new coach, Ange Postecoglou wins first match.
After a goalless first half, Tottenham opened scoring just at the start of the second half through Pape Matar Sarr.
Sarr fired the rebound into the roof of the net after the ball broke to him in the box.
United almost scored few minute later as a shot hit the woodwork. Antony picked up the ball inside the box and produced a snap shot that smashed against the crossbar.
The homers made it 2-0 few minutes to duration from an unfortunate own goal conceded by Lisandro Martinez.
Martinez, attempting to block the ball after a cross, sent it into the bottom right corner of his own goal.
Earlier in the first half, United wasted a good chance that would have put them in the lead. An inch-perfect cross into the box found Bruno Fernandes who looped his header high over the bar.
Pedro Porro was also unlucky not to have scored, as he latched on to a pass on the edge of the box and unleashed a brilliant shot towards the goal, but he hit the crossbar.
