“I was given only N1M out of N2M Davido sent – Mohbad’s father reveals as friends plan to get back the money the late singer had deposited for a Range Rover Velar
Recall that skit maker Cute Abiola recently disclosed that Mohbad had plans to purchase a new Range Rover Velar and had deposited half of the funds to a car dealership before his sudden death.
In the video, a friend could be heard informing the late singer’s dad about his plans to purchase the car before he died. The friend also promised to get in touch with the car dealership to refund the money he had deposited for the car.
The father of the late singer, who is separated from his mother, said she left him when their son was about 8 and that he had to raise the singer all by himself.
He also disclosed in the video that the chain on his son’s neck was meant to be sold and that he was meant to be buried in Lekki but he doesn’t know where his land is.
When asked about N2 million donation sent by Davido through someone, he said he asked that the money be transferred to Mohbad’s friend called Daosha.
According to him, he received only 1 million naira while the other sum was used for the burial including buying of the coffin.
