In a statement released on Saturday by his spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Bola Tinubu praised his immediate predecessor Muhammadu Buhari as a man of unwavering integrity.
As Buhari celebrated his 81st birthday, Tinubu commended his leadership qualities and accomplishments during his time as Head of State and civilian president.
Tinubu also hailed Buhari as the ultimate example of selflessness, dedication, love for country, and loyalty to the nation’s interests.
“President Buhari is from the rarest phylum of virtuous servant-leaders. He has devoted his life to the service of the nation, even earning himself detention for his patriotism and service to our Fatherland.
“The emergence of leaders like my good friend, Buhari, happens only by divine orchestration. He is a man of absolute and undiluted integrity. His yea is yea, and his nay is nay,” the President said.
