Hon. Comr Ebuka Ben Okoye (Oghumiri n’ Olo) declared his intention to contest for Chairman Ezeagu LGA.
Ben Okoye is an astute politician, a revered journalists, great administrator, philanthropist and God fearing man. The aspirant is running under the platform of PDP, People Democratic Party. He is a core member of PDP and a strong supporter since inception. EBUKA Ben Okoye is a member of PDP Enugu State campaign council, grass root mobilization at last Governorship election for his Excellency Hon Bar Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah. At the time of his Declaration with their ward members, Olo Ward 1, Hon. Ebuka Ben Okoye appealed to the ward members, Ezeagu, Enugu State to support him and vote him.
EBUKA highlighted, by God’s grace, Ezeagu people will be great, if he come on board, that he will serve his people with humility, honest, good work, accountability respect to human dignity and with fear of God. In return, the PDP Chairman Olo Ward 1 thank the aspirant, and told him that he has served and paid his dues in P.D.P Olo Ward 1, Ezeagu and entire Enugu State. The ward Chairman Further stated that it is set time for the aspirant to shine and be favoured, as he is patient and good man, because a patient dog eat the fattest bone. The woman leader, Mrs. Violet Egwuatu and Igwemagu Christopher congratulated and praised God for the gift of the aspirant, and for his bold step in respect of his decision regarding chairmanship aspiration. In the speech of Mr. Christopher, the ward secretary, said that God in his infinite mercy will hear their prayers for the contestant to be remembered and achieve his goals in this fort coming election. Mr. Igweagu appealed to the indigenes of Ezeagu and others to please do the needful by choosing / electing Ben Okoye. The aspirants during declaration pointed out that his agenda will be in line with the vision of the executive Governor of Enugu State, as his vision has come true, by fulfilling his election promises, which includes, addressing the water needs at Enugu State with short period of time. Among others are infrastructures, good roads, and human empowerment.
