The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is yet to receive monies meant for the payment of Super Eagles’ bonuses and allowances at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, SCORENigeria reports.
Recall that the Nigerian Government approved the money before the start of the competition earlier this month.
According to SCORENigeria, the NFF disclosed that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is yet to make the payment into its account.
Each player is due a $5,000 bonus for a win while the camp allowance is $200 a player daily. The players are to be paid 12,500 each for the two wins and draw from the group stage.
