Notable gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey reacts to a video capturing the moment an MC pranked people at an event.
In the video shared on Nathaniel Bassey’s IG page, the MC first raised the hopes of the audience by announcing the presence of the singer, stating that he was flown in to deliver a performance at the event.
The announcement got everyone on their feet as they awaited the grand entrance of the gospel singer unknowing to them that it was a prank.
The DJ further deceived the people as he began playing a song of Nathaniel Bassey.
The MC however dashed the hopes of the audience after he told them that Nathaniel Bassey wasn’t actually in their midst.
He asked why they were all expecting Nathaniel Bassey when they didn’t pay him for an appearance.
Reacting to the clip, Nathaniel Bassey humourous tagged the stunt as an expensive joke.
He further promised to surprise the family with a performance soon.
