The Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Nasir Raji Mustapha said the eight point Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will attract the rebooting of it’s 2021-2025 programs to conform with the present realities.
Dr Raji who stated this in Abuja while underscoring the importance of productivity in advancing national development, that is capable of growing economies.
He said the decision of the centre to rejig the template designed in 2021 was to conform with the expectations of the current administration built on the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In that vein, the centre will increase the productivity consultants capacities to companies and firms geared towards solving business issues and emerging challenges.
The Director General maintained that away from resolving Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) , with our productivity and quality improvement tools techniques, it is determined to do more in 2024, inspite paucity of funds.
He promised to consolidate were successes are already recorded both in research and practical knowledge, so as to assist companies and firms perform better.
Dr Raji also used the opportunity to highlight some other programs said away from the yearly award of National Productivity order of Merit (NPOM) to distinguish Nigerians both in the public and private sector, stating that he is poised to change the narratives from known to the unknown going forward.
“For three decades, according him , the centre had assisted companies, firms and organisations turnaround the fortunes of their businesses using many techniques.”
He promised that inline with the current dispensation, companies will do more better through repositioning, while those not living up to expectations will pick up in the new spirit.
