Former Edo State Governor and Current Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, is challenging the introduction of zoning in the APC’s rescheduled primary for the upcoming governorship election, citing the party’s inconsistent application of this practice in other states like Kogi and Benue.
Oshiomhole revealed his stance after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Expressing the Edo APC’s disinterest in “turn-by-turn democracy,” Oshiomhole highlighted President Tinubu’s commitment to a primary determined by the majority will of the APC rather than zoning.
