Four Enugu And Ebonyi residents benefit from Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s free surgeries

No fewer than four people from Enugu and Ebonyi States on 7th of May benefited from the ongoing Free Surgical Intervention Programme initiated by the former governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Gburugburu.

The programme, which started while Ugwuanyi was still the governor, has seen thousands of poor patients undergo surgical operations from different surgical conditions since the free program started.

The latest beneficiaries, include: Ugwuoke Victoria from Orba in Udenu LGA, who had lump at the back of the neck and Lumpectomy done; Helen Nnamani from Opi in Nsukka LGA, who had a case of suspected cancer of the left breast which left Mastectomy was done.

Others are Ugwu Solomon 07039811553 from Ubollo-afor in Udenu LGA, who had a case of inguinoscrotal hernia and herniorrhaphy done and Nwa Ebonyi Joseph from Abakiliki Ebonyi state with a case of Tumour on the mouth and was removed.

The surgical procedures, according to a statement on Thursday, are taking place at Gburugburu free surgery programme centre No 84 Edem Road Nsukka.

“This is a life saving program that the former Executive Governor of Enugu state Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Gburugburu started when he was in office and continued the total sponsoring of the program after his tenure for the great love he has for the entire people of Enugu state and for the total support of the good Governance of H. E. Barr. Peter Mbah and H. E. Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai the working Governor and Deputy Governor of Enugu state”, the statement read.
