Popular Nigerian singer Davido has denied allegations that he dismissed his lawyer and longtime friend, Bobo Ajudua, over embezzlement claims.
The rumors surfaced after blogger Stella Dimokokorkus reported that Davido had sacked Ajudua for allegedly embezzling $370,000. The report quickly spread across social media, leading to widespread speculation about the nature of their professional and personal relationship.
However, Davido took to social media to refute the claims. “This was not the case at all!” he wrote. “We are still very good friends! In business, things evolve and change all the time! Please everyone disregard this narrative!”
Davido’s statement emphasizes that the decision was not due to any financial misconduct but rather a normal progression of their business relationship. He urged his fans and the public to ignore the misleading reports and reiterated his continued friendship with Bobo.
As of now, neither Bobo nor his representatives have commented on the situation.
