In a daring attempted theft, a man was arrested over the weekend in Barcelona, Spain, for trying to steal a multimillion naira jewelry box belonging to Nigerian singer, Bnxn.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect was seen lurking around the singer’s hotel room before attempting to break in and snatch the valuable jewelry box. However, his plan was foiled when hotel security and local police arrived at the scene, leading to his arrest.
The jewelry box, estimated to be worth millions of naira, contains precious items such as diamond necklaces, gold bracelets, and other expensive accessories.
Bnxn, whose real name is Daniel Benson, is currently on tour in Europe and was in Barcelona for a concert when the incident occurred.
The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently in police custody and faces charges of attempted theft and burglary.
