Anambra 2025: Chief Sir Paul Chukwuma Vows to Unseat Soludo and APGA

Umueri- This is certainly an interesting period and moment for joy for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, as one of its founding Fathers, pillars and the immediate past National Auditor, Chief Sir Paul Chukwuma has vowed to unseat the incumbent Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo if the APC gives him its ticket come 2025.

Chukwuma also promises to elevate the party far and above any other political party in Anambra State and the South East geopolitical zone.

Besides organizing regular seminars and interactive meetings at all levels of party leadership, Chukwuma has also revealed his commitment to giving the APC an overwhelming support base, financial backing, unrivaled motivation, and confidence amidst political parties.

The former National Auditor noted all these is to ensure that no other party in Anambra State would stand before APC’s victory in the fast-approaching 2025 governorship election.

In a well-attended consultative meeting late Sunday afternoon with party chairmen from the 326 wards in the state, 21 Local Government Chairmen, Three Senatorial Zonal Working Committee nd Members of State Working Committee led by Chief Basil Ejidike at his country home in Umueri, Anambra East Council, Chukwuma confirmed his interest in contesting for the Anambra governorship seat currently occupied by Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

He used the occasion to announce the donation of a brand new State secretariat, as well as three Zonal offices and grassroots offices in the three hundred and twenty-six (326) electoral Wards of Anambra State.

“Henceforth, never again will APC be lost in the crowd or relegated to the background in the state,” he said.

” I have now provided a new State office, Zonal offices, and 326 Wards offices. I have also provided funds for regular monthly meetings for constant interactions among members.

“I insist that we all as APC members must be very proud of the party. We must have a distinct uniform that will always stand us out as APC members. We must wear it with pride, after all, we are the national ruling party!” he added.

Chukwuma, flanked by a Board of Trustee member of the party, Chief Ralph Okeke; Chief Basil Ejidike, the State Chairman; Chief Ifeanyi Ibezi, Hon Chinedu Elumuno, former members of the Federal House of Representatives, the State Secretary, Engr Chidi Orji, Hon Barr CJ Chinwuba,
and other party top brass in the state also presented booklets for registration of members, ” ahead the proposed e-registration”, he stated.

To ensure that the APC stays far ahead of other political parties in the state, run in a purely different manner, with nothing short of winning the coming 2025 governorship election, Dr. Chukwuma also announced his plans to organize regular seminars for the party leaders and select members all over the state.

The State Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, eulogies Sir Paul Chukwuma for his unprecented show of love to the Party at all levels. He recalled how Chief Sir Paul Chukwuma during festive Period showed love to all Party executives across the5 326 wards, 21 Local Government Areas, Senatorial Zones and State. He prayed for God to continue to bless Him. Chief Sir Ejidike urged the Party Executives at level to double their efforts because to him who much is given,much is expected.

Many other speakers, Hon Ifeanyi Ibezi, Chief Raph Okeke thanked Chief Sir Paul Chukwuma for his outstanding contribution towards the upliftment and growth of APC in Anambra State.

This series of consultative meeting also continued on Tuesday 21st May, 2024 with meetings with Women Leaders across 326 wards, 3 Senatorial Zone women Leaders and 21 Local Government Women Leaders.

Sir Paul Chukwuma later had an The Interactive session with 326 Youth Leaders across the State, 21 Local Government Youth Leaders, 3 Senatorial Youth Leaders. And other Youth Stakeholders across the state.

The meeting will continue in the same direction with 326 Ward Secretaries, 3 Senatorial Secretaries and 21 Local Government Secretaries across the State on Wednesday, 22nd May, 2024.
