In a bid to enhance digital literacy and promote economic growth, the Enugu State Government has launched the Enugu/FGN-ALAT Digital Skillnovation Programme. This innovative initiative aims to equip business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals, and job seekers with cutting-edge digital, business management, and employability skills.

The programme, which is a collaboration between the Federal Government of Nigeria, Wema Bank, and the Enugu State Government, will provide training in core digital and technology skills, technology-adjacent skills, code technology skills, and entrepreneurial and business management skills. The training will be delivered through both virtual and in-person sessions over a period of 2-3 months.

According to the State Government, the programme is designed to align with the vision of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, to enhance youth employability and support Startups and SMEs in Enugu State. The programme is expected to benefit 2,000,000 youth and 1,000,000 MSMEs across Nigeria.
