The Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Mohammed Umaru Bago, has endorsed a 50% decrease in registration fees for students studying at Abdulkadir Kure University in Minna
The governor’s decision is reportedly aimed at supporting parents in light of the recent elimination of the fuel subsidy.
In a statement released to the press in Minna on Friday, the University’s Pro-Chancellor, Professor Muhammed Yahaya Kuta, mentioned that the governor’s action was intended to help ease the financial burden faced by parents.
