According to insiders, Peter and Paul Okoye, the twin brothers behind the popular music group Psquare, are embroiled in a bitter dispute over royalties and financial mismanagement.
The issue allegedly began when a company offered to buy their music catalog, but requested financial transparency and account statements. Peter’s investigation revealed that their brother Jude, who manages their company Northside Entertainment, had been diverting funds to a new company with his wife as a director.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is involved, and Jude’s accounts have been frozen. Paul’s alleged involvement in the financial misconduct has further strained the relationship between the brothers.
The dispute has led to a heated confrontation at the EFCC office, with the brothers threatening each other. The matter is ongoing, with millions of dollars in royalties at stake.
