Seven people have died and dozens injured in Zimbabwe after a bus reportedly transporting church attendees caught fire while returning from an annual event.
The church attendees were returning to Manicaland province after participating in the Bernard Mizeki Annual Festival held in Marondera, a small town near Harare.
This was revealed in a video shared on X by Star FM, on Monday, June 17.
The caption reads: “Seven people died after a Passion Link bus carrying pilgrims from Bernard Mzeki caught fire yesterday in Manicaland.
“National Shrines chairperson Reverend Father Edwin Selemani also confirmed that several others were injured ,with 3 reportedly in critical condition.”
