The Managing Director of Fouani Company, who was abducted alongside two other Lebanese nationals and two Nigerians have regained their freedom.
They were dropped off last night, June 17, at about 11pm by their abductors in a riverine area in Epe. The police marine personnel picked them up and ferried them to a safe area where they were then taken to their home in Banana Island.
The businessman, his two Lebanese associates, as well as the boat driver and his assistant, both Nigerian nationals, were abducted on Friday, June 14, while traveling by boat in Lagos state. They were abducted around Falomo Bridge while commuting from Apapa to Victoria Island.
Confirming this to LIB, the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the men have been rescued.
