A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Francis Okoye, has called on the party to unite behind Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah as its candidate for the 2025 Anambra State governorship election.
Dr. Okoye, who is also the convener of the Coalition of South East APC Support Groups and Member 2023 APC Presidential Campaign Council made this known in Abakiliki Ebonyi State during the APC South East Stakeholders meeting held on July 14th, 2024. He commended the renewed unity among party members in the South East, particularly in Ebonyi and Imo States, and expressed optimism that the party will emerge victorious in the Anambra governorship poll if Ifeanyi Ubah is given the ticket.
According to Dr. Okoye, Sen. Ubah has the capacity and political clout to deliver the state for the APC, and urged the party to capitalize on his popularity and grassroots support to secure victory in 2025.
